I have a BFA from NYU School of the Arts, Institute of Film and Television

I have extensive experience producing, directing, and editing film and video.

I taught intro to Avid Editing at The School of Visual Arts in the 90's and created an advanced Avid editing class there.

I recently conducted a 2-day workshop at Filmmakers Cooperative in NYC on transitioning from FCP7 to Premiere.

I am fluent in Avid, FCP7, Premiere/Adobe Creative Cloud (including Photoshop, Illustrator and AfterEffects) and DaVinci Resolve and I am a member of the Adobe Community Professional program.

I have successfully exported several complex projects from FCP7 to Premiere CC.
Recently I have completed a number of projects utilizing Premiere CC for editing, and then doing color correction in Resolve with it's much more robust tool set for color correction..

I have a 2022 MacStudio,  2012Macbook Pro and a custom built Windows machine optimized for Premiere and Vimeo/Livestream streaming.   I have access to 2 Sony HD cameras, 2 battery powered led lights and 2 tripods.

I have served as a postproduction consultant on many documentary projects - designing and supervising workflow.
